Ethos: Quarterly Journal of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Beverly Hills
Lead Designer & Visual Strategist (2014–2019)
Client: All Saints’ Episcopal Church
For five years, I served as the lead designer of Ethos, the award-winning quarterly journal of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Beverly Hills. Created as a space for parishioners to explore the intersection of faith and culture, Ethos encouraged intentional and reflective living, offering a platform for stories rooted in spiritual experiences, artistic expression, and community life.
As designer, I shaped the publication’s visual identity, layout, and typographic voice—balancing elegance and accessibility while aligning with the church’s bold public witness. My work on Ethos was honored with Best Printed Publication at the Episcopal Communicators Polly Bond Awards four years in a row, reflecting both creative excellence and the publication’s strong reception among parishioners and peers.
The journal became a beloved fixture of parish life during my tenure, helping deepen community engagement and expand the church’s message through thoughtful, story-driven design.
