As the organizer of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church’s 2025 presence at Winston-Salem Pride, I led a comprehensive community outreach initiative that demonstrated our church’s commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion. I designed a branded campaign that aligned with the church’s overall identity while standing out with a vibrant and welcoming style. This included signage, nametags, a welcome flyer, and materials for a summer queer book club, each crafted to spark connection and convey a sense of belonging.
Beyond design, I coordinated volunteers both in the lead-up to the event and on the day itself, ensuring a strong and joyful presence at our booth. I also led a parish-wide workshop beforehand, helping parishioners explore what inclusion looks like in the life of the Church.
This initiative brought together strategic communications, visual identity, community organizing, and formation—all in service of a Church that leads with love.
